Improving Lives update
Our July update celebrates the fantastic progress we've made gaining political backing to support the Harry's Pledge campaign we've been spearheading alongside key partners for the last two years.
I'm thrilled that a breakfast briefing hosted by Harry's Pledge and supported by Longhurst Group, Grand Union and Greatwell Homes has inspired a Private Members Bill in parliament. I'd personally like to thank everyone who attended the event. We'll bring you more updates about the progress of the Pledge soon but you can find out more here.
Also in this edition we share news of the successful appointment of three new contractors to deliver our repairs and voids service and share how our newly introduced Work and Training Grant is benefiting customers.
As well as a summary of our latest development activity, which includes two accessible bungalows in Lincoln, 2021/22 was a record breaking year for new build development and saw us climb up the Inside Housing Biggest Builders ranking.
