Customer’s praise for TSO Katie after helping her develop positive outlook on life
“She’s given me such a positive outlook on everything.”
Those are the words of one of our customers who’s been working closely with one of our Tenancy Sustainment Officers (TSOs) after a difficult start to her tenancy with us.
Jade Bradley* lives in Lincolnshire with her two young children. Having moved there in November 2018, she freely admits she had some issues with her neighbours.
But, after our TSO Katie Altham stepped in to help, Jade said things just kept on getting better.
“Katie’s brilliant,” she said.
I used to attract lots of complaints from neighbours as I was a bit loud and was in an abusive relationship. The neighbours weren’t very supportive until I got out of that relationship and started communicating with them.
“Katie got assigned to me to see if there was any help I could receive as I had a lot of junk in the back garden and we had mice too.
“She’s been very supportive. With two young kids, we also have lots of toys in the garden as there’s nowhere to store them.
“Katie supported me to access funding for a shed, so that’s also now sorted.”
When Katie first visited Jade, she noticed she was struggling with her Council Tax bills. Now, thanks to her support in pointing out the help available to her, Jade says she’s much better off.
“Katie made me aware of the discounts that were available and helped me apply to get that all in place,” she added.
“It has helped tremendously. I’m about £60 per month better off.
Katie is absolutely amazing. I suffer from mental health issues too, so her help has improved my anxiety.
“Every knock back causes avoidance from me, but Katie is like my pillow of support. She keeps pushing me forward and keeps me positive about everything.
“She’s given me more motivation to get more stuff done and I’m now more determined and motivated to improving my home.
I just want to thank her for her support and I’d definitely recommend her and the other TSOs to anybody who is in a pickle like I was.”
We offer tenancy sustainment support to customer across our operational areas.
