Steve, 61, came to The New Haven after losing his property due to rent arrears. He had been living there for six years but now found himself homeless.

He was referred to our scheme at Changemaker House, where customers are offered their own move-on flat for up to 24 months.

After securing his new accommodation at the scheme, Steve was also referred to financial support to help him address and then clear debts.

Without this intervention, Steve would likely have remained homeless, sleeping rough on the streets of Peterborough.
