Lifelines and care alarms

As your lifeline provider, we understand the importance of regular checks and testing of the equipment to ensure that it's fully functioning should you need it in an emergency.
 
If you notice a fault with your lifeline equipment, please call us straight away on 0800 111 4013.


Monthly

We ask all customers to test their equipment monthly – including any pendants, pull cords and linked smoke alarms or other equipment. 

How to test your Lifeline equipment
Once a month, simply press your pendant to make a test call to our Lifeline Monitoring Centre. An operator will answer your call – please let them know that you're just testing your alarm.  They'll then close your call down with no further action.

Please don’t ever worry about testing your equipment – this is a great way to build confidence in using the equipment, but also ensures that you can get help when needed.
 
Our colleagues will test any communal alarms and equipment.


Quarterly

Our colleagues will test any hardwired equipment in flats, including any pendants, pull cords and linked smoke alarms and other equipment. Please let us in where requested.


Annual

Our maintenance contractor will carry out a full service.  We'll also complete an annual data review with you to ensure key contact details are still relevant.
