Moving forward – Our new annual report goes live

Longhurst Group’s 2021/22 annual report and financial statements have now been published.
Entitled Moving Forward, the report showcases the Group’s performance in the last 12 months, outlining the challenges we’ve faced and our renewed focus on improving the services we provide.
Produced and presented digitally, Moving Forward delivers an interactive experience and features a wide range of videos and animated infographics that showcase our numbers and the people behind them.
Reflecting on the challenges of the last financial year, Longhurst Group Chief Executive, Julie Doyle, said: “Although we’ve faced a series of challenges and haven’t consistently reached the high standards we’ve set and that our customers deserve, there are still many reasons for optimism and plenty of things to celebrate.
“We remain on course to make our Improving Lives vision a reality. With strong foundations in place, we’ve enjoyed excellent progress providing 679 new homes where they are needed the most.
“We’ve continued to provide excellent support to our customers and communities with their health and wellbeing and economic resilience thanks to the dedicated work of our Income Recovery, Money Advice, Employment and Skills and Community Investment colleagues. Our Care and Support services also continue to deliver compassion, dignity and independence to our customers.
“Although the challenges we’ve faced may make it harder to realise our aims, it doesn’t mean we’ll shy away from our vision and our responsibilities. We’re doing well, we’re making a positive difference, but we need to do more. And, moving forward, we will.”
