How Shared Ownership works

An easier way to buy

  • Buy a share between 10% and 75% (or 25% and 75%) depending on the lease
  • Pay rent on the remaining share
  • Over time, you can buy more shares, right up to 100% ownership, (This can be up to 80% or 100% leasehold depending on the lease)
  • You’ll only need a smaller deposit and a mortgage than if you were buying outright
