How Shared Ownership works

An easier way to buy

  • Buy a share between 10% and 75% (or 25% and 75%)
  • Pay rent on the remaining share
  • Over time, you can buy more shares, right up to 100% ownership, (this can be restricted to 80% or 100% leasehold not freehold)
  • You’ll only need a smaller deposit and a mortgage than if you were buying outright

The £2,000 towards moving costs will be deducted off the final completion statement and cannot be given as a cash substitute. Valid on reservations received before 9 January 2026, with a requirement to complete by 31 March 2026.
