Overview
This is a Housing Related Support Service, providing supported accommodation to homeless individuals in HMO’s around Grimsby with support workers visiting you daily.
Floating Support
We provide Housing Related Support to customers in the community living in their own homes - floating support.
- Support within our accommodations can last up to two years and our properties are licenced.
- Floating support is in your own home or temporary accommodation and can last up to two years.
- Referrals into the service come from Northeast Lincolnshire Council. To access this service you need to contact NELC directly. Â
Facilities/access
- 17 properties made up of two, three and four bedrooms for occupancy.
Support
- Adults who require support due to homelessness and need accommodation
- Adults who are struggling to manage due to various issues/concerns and need support to maintain their tenancy.
- Dedicated staff are on-hand, during normal office hours, to help residents and those in the community develop skills such as, independent living skills
- Reduce the risk of homelessness by maintaining the tenancy, liaising with support services, ie mental health, social care, substance misuse services.
- Offer support and advice about education, employment, and training opportunities.Â
