Plans submitted for new affordable housing in Huntingdonshire village
05 August 2025
We’ve submitted plans to build more than 40 new affordable homes in a Huntingdonshire village.
If approved by Huntingdonshire District Council, the 43 homes will be built on land off Station Road in Warboys.
They’ll be made available for Shared Ownership and affordable rent.
Marcus Keys, Chief Development and Commercial Officer, said: “We’re committed to addressing the need for affordable housing and believe these plans would help tackle the shortage of such housing in the district.
We’ve worked closely with colleagues at Huntingdonshire District Council to make these plans suitable for the surroundings and I’d like to thank everyone involved in helping to get us to this stage.
“We’ll now allow the plans to go through the full planning process and await a decision.
“If we’re given the go-ahead for this development, I’ll be looking forward to seeing building work progress and eventually welcoming new customers to their homes.”
The proposed 43 homes would be a combination of one, two, three and four-bedroom flats, bungalows and houses.
The bungalows would be built to an accessible standard.
Allocated parking spaces are included in the submitted plans, as well as visitor parking spaces and open space and a play area.
