Customer Influence Panel helps shape our future plans
On 21 January 2026, members of our Customer Influence Panel (CIP) came together with our Board and Directors for a workshop focused on shaping our new Corporate Plan.
The session was designed to test our thinking, challenge our language, and ensure customer voice directly informs how we prioritise what matters most.
Through discussion, group exercises and a prioritisation task, CIP members played a key role in helping us understand where our efforts should be focused.
Your voice
- CIP members explored what “safe, warm and affordable homes” mean to them and how this should guide the Corporate Plan.
- Members helped review the key commitments and decide which actions we must, should and could prioritise through a simple priority setting activity.
- Members generated new ideas for improving accessibility, community spaces, support services and customer experience.
- The Panel valued the opportunity to challenge assumptions, influence early planning and collaborate directly with our Board and Directors.
Your impact
What we’ve done
This workshop brought the CIP together with our Board and Directors to explore priorities and help shape the direction of our Corporate Plan.
The session created space for shared discussion, learning and decision making, with CIP members helping us explore what we must do, should do, and could do to improve outcomes.
What we're doing
We are reviewing all feedback from the workshop, including:
- the outcomes of the ranking task
- customer generated ideas
- reflections shared in the workshop video
- themes the CIP identified as most important.
This insight is being mapped directly into the development of the Corporate Plan to ensure customer priorities remain central.
What’s next
Customer feedback from the workshop will shape the next stage of the Corporate Plan.
We will publish a summary showing how CIP insight is influencing our decisions and outline how the CIP will continue to work alongside our Board and Directors throughout the process.
Thank you to every member who took part and helped shape our future plans.
