Defects inspections during the Coronavirus outbreak – your preferences

As explained in the letters recently issued to customers, we are restarting defects inspections and need to confirm if you are comfortable and happy for us to visit your home in order for this to take place.

Even if you are not comfortable with us visiting your home in the current circumstances, you can still submit a list of defects to us using the form below. This can then be reviewed without an inspection, and qualified defects agreed and logged for repair at a later date.

Safety confirmation

Following current advice, we are only able to visit if it is safe to do so. For it to be safe we need to ensure that:

no-one living at the property has tested positive or been in contact with anybody who has tested positive for Coronavirus in the last 14 days;
no-one living at the property currently has any of the Coronavirus symptoms or been in contact with someone with symptoms within the last 14 days – including a cough, high temperature, loss of taste and/or smell, and;
no-one living at the property is currently shielding.

If you select 'no' below, don't worry: you can still submit a list of defects to us by completing the form below. This can then be reviewed, and qualified defects agreed and logged for repair at a later date.

Thank you for confirming that Longhurst Group staff would not be able to attend to inspect your property. You can still submit a list of defects to us using the form below. This can then be reviewed without an inspection, and qualified defects agreed and logged for repair at a later date.

You must contact us if any of the above apply prior to the appointment, by calling 0300 123 1745.

If we are unable to attend due to any of the above reasons, we will review the submitted list and agree defects with the Developer. These will be logged for repair when it is safe to do so. Please be assured that defect issues will be reviewed with or without an inspection, provided you have submitted a completed form to us.
