Application Process

Q:

About the Application Process?

A:

How do I apply?

Just click on the ‘Apply for this job’ button and you’ll be taken through the steps one at a time. You will need to set up an account if this is the first time you’ve applied for a job at Longhurst Group. Visit the log in page

Do I need to fill out all of the sections on the application form?

Yes, the more information you provide the easier it is for us to assess whether you are the right person for the job.

What else will I need to complete the form?

The job description and person specification will help you tailor your application to the vacancy. Try to demonstrate how your experiences and attributes relate to the role you are applying for.

Do you accept CVs?

We cannot accept CVs, please use the online application form.

Can I apply for more than one job?

Of course, if your skills and experience match more than one vacancy you are welcome to apply for as many as interest you.

Do you acknowledge receipt of my application form?

As a result of the volume of applicants currently being received for posts, we regret that it will not be possible to respond to every applicant and we will, therefore, only contact you if you are selected for interview.  We will contact you via email (please check you spam/junk folder), if you are successful.  If you have not received a response to your application by at least 2 days before advertised interview date, you can assume that your application has been unsuccessful.

I have a disability – will I need to disclose details?

Please make us aware of any special requirements you may need should you be invited to interview. There is a section on the application form for this.

I do not have a UK work permit, will you still accept my application?

No, you need a valid UK work permit to work at Longhurst Group.
