Cleaning and ground maintenance - our service
We’re committed to providing excellent services to improve the environment in which you live and create neighbourhoods everyone is proud of.
We work in partnership with a number of contractors delivering these services, which include cleaning and grounds maintenance, to more than 900 sites across the Group.
Our Estates Contract Team regularly assess the quality of our grounds maintenance and cleaning work and we welcome customer feedback on how we’re doing.
We recently asked customers whether they knew what they could expect from these important services.
A total of 64 percent didn’t know the specification for the cleaning contract, while 60 percent said they weren’t sure of the grounds maintenance specification.
Our Estate Contracts Manager, Tim Downes, said: “We work closely with our contractors to ensure they provide the highest quality standard of service to our customers, but it’s really important customers know what to expect from services they pay for.”
We have three Services Contracts Officers across the Group who monitor contractor performance through regular site inspections, sharing both positive and negative feedback at monthly contractor meetings.
We’ll soon be introducing Green and Clean Inspectors to work with the Estates Team to review the grounds maintenance and cleaning in their area, helping provide feedback to our contractors.
