Formed in February 2001 to receive the transfer of housing stock from East Northamptonshire Council, to date we have spent over £42 million on improvements to homes.  Tenants are involved in key decisions and are helping to make neighbourhoods and estates nicer places to live.  We have just been allocated £1.8million to provide new homes for rent and shared ownership.

In February 2006, we formed a partnership with Rutland County Council to manage the housing service in Rutland.  Since that date, tenant satisfaction has increased to 86% and satisfaction with the overall repairs service has increased to 97%.  Employing over 130 people, managing a total of 4,600 homes, Spire Homes’ staff represent a ‘can do’ culture who aspire to be the first choice for quality homes and services and to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
