ethos of being community focused with an aspiration to be the
leading provider of quality housing in the areas in which we
work.
Formed in February 2001 to receive the transfer of housing stock
from East Northamptonshire Council, to date we have spent over £42
million on improvements to homes. Tenants are involved in key
decisions and are helping to make neighbourhoods and estates nicer
places to live. We have just been allocated £1.8million to
provide new homes for rent and shared ownership.
In February 2006, we formed a partnership with Rutland County
Council to manage the housing service in Rutland. Since that
date, tenant satisfaction has increased to 86% and satisfaction
with the overall repairs service has increased to 97%.
Employing over 130 people, managing a total of 4,600 homes, Spire
Homes’ staff represent a ‘can do’ culture who aspire to be the
first choice for quality homes and services and to make a positive
difference to people’s lives.
