Rosie Weaver
- Chairperson of Friendship Care and Housing
and their nominated representative to serve on the Longhurst
Group Board.
Rosie has worked as a social work practitioner and held a range of
senior management roles within the Public and Voluntary sector.
She has presented at national and international conferences and
published on social exclusion, advocacy, locality NHS management
and inequalities.
Rosie holds an MA in Human Resource Management and Industrial
Relations and is a qualified workplace mediator.
Rosie was a founder member and Chair of a not-for-profit
community business and several charities for people with mental
health problems, people with learning disabilities and disabled
children.
She has chaired Friendship since 2000 and currently also chairs
the Equalities and Diversities Committee.
