Partnering with our members
Through experience, collaboration and
communication our members work with a range of local partners
achieving and delivering shared priorities which deliver the right
outcomes for our communities.
Spire
Homes works hard to be a great partner, learning from
the organisations they work with and contributing something in
return. And this approach has created some amazing
opportunities such as:
- Providing youth workers and peer mentoring in response to
anti-social behaviour problems, through partnerships with
Groundwork.
- Improving security, landscaping and quality of life through
area-based partnerships (for example with parish councils, local
authorities and other landlords)
- Working with developers, councils and residents to achieve
‘greener’ housing – such as solar panels in sheltered housing
schemes and new energy initiatives that keep fuel costs low.

residents, their families and wide neighbourhoods. It’s all about
creating stronger, safer communities. Examples of this
include:
- Working with local authorities and government agencies on
regeneration initiatives in areas of deprivation
- Partnerships providing specialist accommodation for homeless
people and women seeking refuge
- Working with partners to help people to maximise their income
and manage a budget.

A major part of the Friendship Care and Housing’s
work involves supporting partners – councils, NHS trusts, voluntary
organisations and local strategic partnerships. They are
committed to supporting local strategies and developing shared
priorities with their partners.
Through partnership working, they’re reduced
anti-social behaviour; helped people to get low-interest loans;
supported families with young children; and improved homes and
facilities in neighbourhoods. So they are both meeting
individual needs and building brighter futures for communities.
Friendship are dedicated to making a
difference in the communities they service. To find out
more about their partnership opportunities contact them to
discuss further.
