Longhurst Group is proud to be the headline sponsor for the
Pride of Boston Awards. Now in their second year, the Pride
of Boston Awards recognise the contribution people have made to
their community. The awards are a real community effort with
members of the public nominated and voted for by the readers of the
Boston Standard.
As a leading provider of affordable housing in
the area Longhurst Group know and have worked with some amazing and
exceptional people in Boston. The town is important to
Longhurst Group, working alongside its member companies, it has
been based in Boston for over 35 years providing affordable homes
for rent and sale, supporting and caring for our customers and
helping to improve lives.
The awards are as
follows:
· Carers Award
· BosKat’s Child Achiever Award (named after the Boston
Standard kids birthday list mascot)
· Sports Person Awards
· Top Teacher Award
· Customer Care Award
· Senior Achiever Award
· Youth Award (Longhurst Group main award
encouraging younger members of the community to
contribute)
The winners and runners-up will be invited to
a prestigious awards ceremony on Wednesday April 28 at Boston
College.
