A Boston based registered social landlord is celebrating a top 20
placing as one of Lincolnshire’s biggest
companies.
With an annual turnover of £64m, Longhurst Group are placed
13th demonstrating that even in these tough economic times,
it is possible to defy the down turn.
Longhurst Group provides homes for over 15,000 families across the
Midlands.
Bob Walder, Chief Executive stated we have a highly skilled and
committed workforce which has meant we have been able to manage the
current challenges extremely well.
Mr Walder added ‘We have been particularly successful with our
development programme exceeding targets by as much as 50%. As a
result hundreds of people will benefit from new homes – and we also
helped to sustain a considerable number of jobs in the housing and
construction sector at a vital time.’
