Longhurst & Havelok
Homes (L&H Homes) will be joined by South Holland District
Council for an afternoon of Christmas-based activities for
residents of Royce Road on 21st December.
Between 2.30pm and 4.30pm
the L&H Homes’ community vehicle will visit the area with fun
activities for children, including:
- Wii
competition
- face
painting
- activities
and games
- Plus the
chance to meet up again with our famous mascot, Finn.
The community vehicle will
also provide residents with a place to talk with L&H Homes
staff about issues that matter most to them. Residents can also
find out more about the growing Keep Britain Tidy Group in the area
and the ongoing Junior Wardens Scheme.
Leanne Harding, Community
Involvement Officer at L&H Homes said, “It’s really
important that we have the chance to interact with out residents in
an informal and relaxed setting. By going out into the community,
our residents can come to us directly and let us know about any
issues they may have. We also want to tell them about the
involvement opportunities available to them, both with L&H
Homes and within their community. Events that we have held in
the past at Royce Road have proved very popular and we hope that
people will still brave the cold weather to see us!”
