shortlist you. It is therefore important that you complete all
sections of the form as clearly as possible.
Please refer to the Job Description, which
gives an outline of the duties you would be expected to carry out,

the Recruitment and Selection Panel would be seeking from you. You
should ensure that your application reflects the skills, experience
and personal qualities that you possess in relation to the
requirements of the post.
Please note that CVs should not be
submitted.
As a result of the volume of applications
currently being received for posts, we regret that it will not be
possible to respond to every applicant and we will, therefore, only
contact you if you are selected for interview.
Interviews
If you are successful in being selected for
the interview, we will write to you to confirm the date, time and
location of your interview. In respect of the large number of good
applications we receive, it is with regret that we cannot interview
everyone who applies for employment with Longhurst Group and the
member companies. In order to meet current legislation, you will be
asked to bring evidence regarding your entitlement to work in the
United Kingdom.
Examples of appropriate evidence are - British
Birth Certificate; British / EU Passport or Identity Card; current
Work Permit.
If you have not received a response to your
application by at least 2 days before advertised
interview date, you can assume that your application
has been unsuccessful. It is the organisation’s policy not to
confirm receipt of application forms or non-selection for
interview. If you would like the receipt of your application form
acknowledging, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
Finally, may I wish you every success with
your application for this post.
