Although we’ve got a solid reputation, the Longhurst Group is
constantly striving to improve. Our key aims, reflected in
our current
business plan, are to:
· Improve and maintain Group performance to top quartile standards
in key business areas
·Seek and maintain excellence in customer service standards at all
times
·Expand our members’ stock, and the overall size of the Group,
within four years
·Reduce management costs by three per cent within two years
·Seek continuous improvement through tenant involvement and best
value strategies, maintaining a modern, effective and respectful
service
·To be innovative and forward-looking in developing new services
and improving existing ones
·To seek new business for existing Group members, and attract new
like-minded members
·To achieve our development targets for 2008-11 through our
partnering agreement with the Homes and Communities Agency and the
Tenant Services Authority
·To seek new support service projects through our specialist
members, L&H Homes, Spire Homes and Friendship Care and
Housing.
