Help for young people
Young people are among the most vulnerable
groups we work with and Longhurst Group members provide a welcome
safety net for them.
Friendship
Care and Housing specialises in providing targeted
help for young people, with self-contained accommodation available
in Nuneaton and Birmingham to ease vulnerable individuals into
independent living, with the support of skilled staff. Those helped
range from young people leaving care to teenage parents.
For young adults with physical disabilities,
L&H runs a purpose-built
care home in Lincoln. The association has also
launched an innovative partnership known as the
‘Build
your Future’ project to work with other young people
on building homes that suit their needs.
In addition to these services, Longhurst Group
provides help for older
people, help
for vulnerable people, respite care, and advocacy and advice.
