Consortium

The Longhurst Group / Nottingham Community Housing Association Consortium consists of fifteen housing associations managing around 40,000 homes in total. The Consortium received a funding allocation of £56 million from the Housing Corporation for '06/08 to develop 1,347 homes - the 13th largest programme nationally. The consortium has the capacity to deliver over 1,000 homes a year and consists of:

  • Nottingham Community Housing Association and Longhurst Group as the joint lead partners (Longhurst Group includes Longhurst Homes, Spire Homes, Havelok Homes and Friendship Care and Housing).
  • Dales Housing, Acis Group and Axiom Housing Association as medium sized associations with good development and management track records.
  • Lincolnshire Rural Housing Association as a local rural organisation.
  • supported housing associations Framework Housing Association, St Matthew Housing, Nacro, Lace Housing and Nottinghamshire YMCA, working with homeless people, clients with learning and other difficulties, and elderly people across the spectrum of age and needs.
