Achieving high-quality affordable housing developments isn’t always easy.  Schemes can be technically demanding, time-consuming and subject to intensive negotiations.

With the range of housing options available – unit types, different tenures, scheme densities, government initiatives – it’s important to choose the right development partner for the job.  That means someone who knows local communities and networks, will adapt to changing circumstances and has the technical and financial skills to make a project stack up.

Blue Skies Consortium is a partnership of 15 housing associations working together to build high-quality affordable homes.  Created in 2006, Blue Skies works primarily in the East Midlands and East of England, but also stretches into the West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humberside regions.  Consortium members collectively own more than 46,000 homes, creating successful communities and providing excellent housing support.
